Northern lights, polar bears, snow scooters, glaciers … the year I spent studying Arctic biology on Svalbard was a once in a lifetime experience. Not only was the scenery absolutely incredible but the courses, which placed a strong emphasis on fieldwork, were truly fascinating. I am now very motivated to pursue a career in polar research.
