The D4 System Design Exercise through its history has always had a different topic each Year

What this opportunity offers you
  • The whole exercise takes place about 12 days during which teams are expected to spend many hours working on their products
  • The laboratory sessions are used for the construction and verification of the design while any background reading is usually done at team meetings
  • Each year the project requirements are kept secret till the very last moment but in 2013-2014 students had to build a Body-Operated One-Man Band with Amplification, Storage and Transmission Integrated Circuits making up the title ‘BOOMBASTIC’
